Tour Route
This combined Nubra valley and Pangong lake tour will take you to some of the most amazing natural and cultural attractions of Ladakh. You will first drive to the Nubra valley via Khardung La pass (5,602 metres) and visit Diskit monastery, Hunder sand dunes where you can enjoy a camel ride and Samstanling monastery in Sumur. With one or two extra days, you could add Turtuk village and Panamik hot spring & Yarab Tso lake in your itinerary.

Day 1
Arrival in Leh
As you arrive at Leh airport, our representative will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel in Leh. Spend the rest of the day acclimatizing to the high altitude of Ladakh. You can take a stroll in the market in the evening but it is recommended that you take complete rest on your first day. -
Day 2
Leh
Start with a tour of the Hall of Fame, constructed by the Indian army to honour the sacrifice of the Indo-Pak war soldiers. Next, visit the Mahakal Temple and then the Spituk Gompa, an 11th-century edifice. You will also get a chance to visit the Patthar Sahib Gurudwara which was constructed by the Lamas to honour the visit of Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism. The drive will take you to the Magnetic Hill, an optical illusion. Drive to the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. The return journey will be taken via the same route. After the excursion, you may go for an evening walk or explore Leh Market on foot. Dinner will be served later. -
Day 3
Leh to Pangong
After breakfast, leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft) through the Indus River Valley. Drive and cross the mighty Changla pass at 17,000 ft, you’ll be at one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Spend some time around the lake, visit the 3 Idiots shooting point and try local food at any of the small restaurants. Checkout from Hotel in Leh -
Day 4
Pangong to Nubra Valley After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via the beautiful Shayok river valley. On the way, visit Desert Himalaya Adventure Park where you can have lunch and enjoy adventure activities like the world’s longest high altitude zip line and an ATV ride at the Khalsar dunes. Arrive at your destination and check in at the hotel/camp. In the evening, visit the Hunder Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a ride on a double-humped camel (on a direct payment basis). Day 5
Nubra Valley to Leh After breakfast, visit the 108 ft high Maitreya Buddha Statue at Diskit monastery. Post the visit, proceed for Leh via the Khardungla pass, one of the world’s highest motorable roads. Arrive in Leh in the afternoon and check in at a hotel. Khardung La Pass Situated at an altitude of 18,379 feet, Khardung La is counted amongst the highest motorable passes in the world. Gateway to the remote Nubra and Shyok valleys, the mountain pass holds a strategic significance as supplies to the Siachen Glacier. Diskit Monastery Approximately 135 kilometers from Leh city, Diskit Monastery or Diskit Gompa is a 14th-century monastery which is considered as the oldest and largest Buddhist Monastery in the Nubra Valley region. Constructed in a Tibetan style, the monastery belongs to the Gelugpa order of Tibetan Buddhism. The monastery is home to beautiful murals and frescos, a 32 meter Maitreya Buddha statue overlooking the entire region, a huge drum and many images of fierce guardian deities. Standing on a hill above the floodplains of Shyok river, the gompa roof offers panoramic views of Nubra valley. Khardung La offers astonishing views and remains popular amongst travelers, especially adventure enthusiasts. Day 6
Leh Have breakfast and then go sightseeing in Leh. Tour the Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery and the Hemis Monastery. In the evening, you can go souvenir shopping, visit Leh Jokhang or the Leh Mosque on foot.

Departure from Leh Early in the morning, check out of the hotel and get transferred to Leh Airport to board your return flight.
